The hotel covers 43 acres of property and is owned by Caesar’s Entertainment Group. At the time it was the worlds largest hotel! In 1984 the Jubilee tower (known as the South tower) was built to add another 730 rooms. It consisted of 2,084 rooms in what is known today as the Indigo tower (previously the North tower). It is actually the original site of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in 1973 and Bally’s took it over in 1985.
Bally’s was built on the corner of South Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Road.
